What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a phytocannabinoid, a biologically active chemical component of the plant Cannabis sativa that is associated with many of the plant’s natural health benefits.
CBD is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after alternative health products on the market in the United States and around the globe.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a lipid signalling pathway, a complex system that is involved in many functions of the central nervous system, endocrine system, and immune system.
The ECS uses chemical messengers that bind to naturally-occuring cannabinoid receptors plentiful throughout the human body. These receptors interact with cannabinoids to send messages throughout body systems at the cellular level.
The relationship between cannabinoids and cannabinoid receptors is often described as a key fitting into a lock. Cannabinoids unlock cannabinoid receptors by physically interacting with them to activate the chemical messengers of the ECS. Endocannabinoids are produced naturally in the body; phytocannabinoids come from from cannabis.
Cannabis, marijuana, hemp. What’s the difference?

Is CBD legal?
In 2013 the state of Colorado legalized hemp farming. The Agricultural Act of 2014 (US Farm Bill) opened the doors to industrial hemp cultivation for pilot programs and hemp research. Thanks to the US Farm Bill, hemp-derived CBD products containing less than 0.3 percent can now be shipped to all 50 states.
The 2014 Farm Bill was signed into law by former President Obama. Section 7606 of the bill re-established the legal cultivation and marketing of hemp on US soil through state agricultural departments.
What’s the difference between full spectrum and isolate products?
Isolate products contain pure, isolated CBD. In contrast, full spectrum products contain an array of cannabinoids, but still contain less than 0.3 percent THC. It is believed that CBD has a greater effect in the body when it is consumed as a full spectrum product.
Does CBD make you high?
No, full spectrum products do not contain sufficient amounts of THC to produce a high. Our products allow you to maintain a clear mind while enjoying the health and wellness benefits of hemp and CBD.
Can I fail a drug test using CBD?
